Your Tasks As a (Senior) UX/UI Designer – Digital Products, you design intuitive, effective and visually clear experiences across our digital ecosystem (web, app and internal applications). You apply a Lean UX mindset – working iteratively, testing assumptions early and focusing on measurable outcomes rather than heavy documentation.

You collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Data/AI to define problems, test hypotheses and ship solutions grounded in data, user research and continuous feedback – for both human users and AI/synthetic users (e.g. automated agents or AI-powered systems).

Depending on your experience, you will either grow into or already take on a senior role with greater ownership, stakeholder alignment and mentoring responsibilities. Own and drive the end-to-end UX and UI design process for selected digital products and features (from discovery to delivery)

Apply Lean UX principles: Work in small, iterative steps

Use light-weight artefacts (sketches, prototypes)

Validate assumptions quickly with users and data Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data/AI and Business to: Understand user needs, pain points and business goals

Define problem statements, hypotheses and success metrics

Prioritise and plan design work within the product roadmap Design user journeys, flows and interactions across touchpoints (web, app, tools) to ensure a coherent, frictionless experience

Create wireframes, interaction concepts and low- to high-fidelity prototypes; deliver final UI aligned with our brand, design system and accessibility standards

Use AI-assisted tools (e.g. for ideation, variants, UX copy, localisation, research synthesis) to work efficiently – and critically evaluate and refine their output

Design and refine AI- and data-enabled features (e.g. search, recommendations, personalisation, assistants or smart tooling) with a strong focus on transparency, user control and trust

Work data-driven: Analyse quantitative data (e.g. funnels, experiments, dashboards)

Plan and run user tests and other qualitative research formats

Systematically integrate user feedback and insights into product decisions and iterations Design for both human users and synthetic users (e.g. AI agents, scripts, systems interacting with your interfaces), ensuring robust, well-defined interaction contracts

Contribute to and evolve our design system, patterns and guidelines, ensuring consistency across platforms and teams

As a senior (depending on level): Facilitate workshops, design reviews and alignment sessions

Provide feedback and coaching to other designers

Help improve UX practices, processes and ways of working across teams Your Profile Several years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products (web/app/tools) in a fast-paced, agile environment

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human–Computer Interaction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating: End-to-end product design (from problem framing to shipped solutions)

Complex flows and interaction/service design, not just visual polish

Clear visual design skills (layout, hierarchy, typography, visual clarity)

Measurable impact on user and/or business outcomes where possible Proven experience with Lean UX: Hypothesis-driven, iterative working style

Close collaboration with Product and Engineering

Focus on outcomes and learning over deliverables

Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure, Framer, Principle or similar) Strong data mindset: confident in interpreting quantitative data, planning and evaluating user tests, and turning insights and feedback into concrete design decisions

Solid AI literacy: understanding of AI/ML in products (e.g. recommendations, generative AI, assistants) and their UX implications (trust, transparency, control)

Hands-on experience using AI tools in your design workflow and the judgment to know when human expertise must lead

Interest or experience in designing for non-human/synthetic users (e.g. AI agents, scripts, APIs) is a plus

Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus

Enjoy working in an international, multidisciplinary environment and contributing to a strong, collaborative team culture For the senior level: proven end-to-end ownership, ability to influence beyond your immediate product area, and experience mentoring other designers
