Technician I, LP-DED Additive, Second Shift

Description:

  • Support LP-DED additive manufacturing work center buildout, first prints, and production ramp-up.
  • Produce Aeon R engine hardware safely, on time, and to high quality standards.
  • Manage production WIP, maintenance, and schedules to support efficient output and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, specialists, and quality teams to ensure components meet strict quality requirements.
  • Provide input that helps shape hardware iterations and manufacturing decisions for the Aeon R program.
  • Advocate for new tools and process improvements that increase production efficiency.
  • Follow work instructions and execute production tasks accurately.
  • Communicate constructive feedback on manufacturing processes to engineering.

Requirements:

  • Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments producing mission-critical hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with additive operations, additive manufacturing, and post-processing in a production environment.
  • Experience with powder-based additive manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute work instructions.
  • Ability to communicate constructive feedback on manufacturing processes.
  • Experience operating or working with LP-DED processes or similar laser- or powder-based additive processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles preferred.
  • Experience with process improvements that drive cost savings and efficiency gains preferred.
  • Previous involvement in new technology onboarding and integration preferred.
  • Ability to work second shift hours, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
