<p><span>Enginuity is a charity and charitable group dedicated to finding new ways to close skills gaps in UK engineering and manufacturing, so that employers have the right skills to prosper, and the sector can continue to deliver innovative solutions to society’s greatest challenges.</span></p><div><p><span>Enginuity is seeking to strengthen its Board through the appointment of a new Trustee to the Enginuity Group Board, which covers both Enginuity and EAL. </span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span>We are always looking for skills and experience that complement and strengthen the Board’s current mix. In particular, we welcome candidates who have worked in or represented an SME (small or medium-sized enterprise), so that the voice of SMEs is reflected in our work. Above all, we are looking for people who are passionate about skills and the sector, and who will bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role.</span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span>EAL is one of two commercial subsidiaries of the charity and is a specialist Awarding and Assessment Organisation for engineering and manufacturing. EAL supports the industry by providing high quality qualifications, assessments and skills solutions for educators and training providers.</span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span>Enginuity Skills (ESL) is the charity’s other trading subsidiary and allows the charity to generate income from its products and services to third parties. Any surplus generated by the two subsidiaries is gift-aided to the charity for reinvestment into the sector.</span></p></div><div><p><span>As a charitable group, we work together to ensure that engineering and manufacturing employers have the right people with the right skills at the right time.</span></p><p></p></div><div><p><span>It’s an exciting time to join Enginuity as we invest in our business growth to enable the achievement of our ambitious business plans.</span></p></div><div><p></p><p><span><strong>Appointment of Trustees</strong></span></p></div><div><p><span>Working with the Chair and Deputy Chair, our Trustees are responsible for ensuring Enginuity pursues its stated charitable objectives, achieves its vision, mission and charitable goals and is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. Trustees act as guardians of the charity’s assets, both tangible and intangible; ensuring that Enginuity’s governance is of the highest standard.</span></p></div><div><p><span>You will hold a passion and knowledge for skills and the engineering and manufacturing sector, and an understanding of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship.</span></p></div><div><p><span>We are also very keen to work towards a more diverse Board of Trustees and equity, diversity and inclusion are integral to everything we do as we strive to make Enginuity an inclusive place to work.
