Total Loss Adjuster

Job Description:

  • Investigate, evaluate, and manage low to moderately complex auto claims
  • Determine coverage, assess liability, and negotiate fair settlements
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations
  • Guide customers through the total loss process
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Use strong communication, technical, and problem-solving skills to resolve claims
  • Support business objectives by effectively managing claims

Requirements:

  • Experience in an inbound phone-intensive, contact center environment using a headset
  • Knowledge of how to build lasting relationships with internal and external customers and business partners
  • Computer literacy in a Windows operation environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to implement and adapt to rapid change
  • Creative, innovative and forward-thinking mindset
  • Able to navigate and work in multiple systems simultaneously
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • 1+ years of claims adjusting experience required
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • 1 year of customer contact experience preferred
  • Current Insurance Adjuster License required
