Supplier Quality Project Manager

Description:

  • Own end-to-end process development for supplier quality initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment and adoption.
  • Conduct discovery by interviewing subject matter experts, facilitating workshops, and synthesizing findings into clear problem statements and solutions.
  • Map and analyze current-state processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, standardization opportunities, efficiency gains, and risks.
  • Design and document new business processes, including workflow diagrams, SOPs, RACI matrices, process narratives, and implementation playbooks.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to define scope, develop project plans, and execute workstreams from start to finish.
  • Serve as the central point of communication for projects, including meetings, status updates, and executive summaries for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage project schedules, critical path activities, and risks to keep initiatives on track.
  • Lead process deployment and change management efforts, including training development, communication, adoption tracking, and post-implementation refinement.
  • Create scalable process templates and governance frameworks with success metrics, monitoring approaches, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
  • Work with internal and external enterprise solution teams to define application and platform requirements and support business-side deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supplier quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in customer success, Dev/NPI, process design, business process improvement, or program management in aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement new processes from concept through deployment across multiple facilities.
  • Experience with change management principles and driving process adoption across organizations.
  • Strong facilitation and requirements gathering skills with the ability to work on ambiguous problems and with diverse stakeholders.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Master's degree in supplier quality, supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma (preferred).
  • Knowledge of program and project management frameworks such as PMI or Agile (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of supplier quality, supply chain, or manufacturing operations and their interdependencies (preferred).
  • Proven track record of leading organizational change initiatives and achieving measurable adoption and results (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders at all levels (preferred).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and translating processes into system requirements and configurations (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations while knowing when to collaborate and escalate (preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams (preferred).
