Candidate can be based anywhere within Canada.</strong></p> <p>This position in Sargent & Lundy’s Consulting group will require you to focus on our utility planning and advisory projects, such as the following:</p> <ul> <li>Transmission system planning and analysis, including studies in load flow, stability, short circuit, and electromagnetic transients (EMT), to support a variety of clients such as ISO/RTO and electric utilities.</li> <li>Preparing new generator interconnection applications, including development of conceptual single line diagram, verification of compliance with reactive power requirements, and development of steady-state, dynamic, and short circuit models to support the applications.</li> <li>Reviewing ISO feasibility and system impact studies to provide guidance to our clients, who are ISO Interconnection Customers.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in Canada for this position.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>This position may require access to U.S. export-controlled information.
