Sales Manager, A&D - East, Kallista

Work Mode: Remote<br><br><strong>Location: </strong>Remote – New York area<br><br><strong> Opportunity <br><br></strong>The Sales Manager A&D - East is responsible for accelerating top-line sales through strategic relationship cultivation with high-end interior design, architecture, and luxury home builders. With a luxury-first mindset, this role will elevate the Kallista & Robern brands among premium audiences, targeting marquee residential projects. This individual is the face of Kallista & Robern to the trade, driving influence, education, and specification.<br><br><strong>Specific Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Strategic Business Development<br><br><ul><li> Design and execute a strategic market engagement plan focused on ultra-luxury residential projects. </li><li> Develop deep, trust-based relationships with principals, design directors, and senior designers at target A&D residential firms. </li><li> Champion Kallista & Robern's legacy of artisanal craftsmanship and engineering to inspire aspiration and a define a new standard of timeless luxury. </li><li> Conduct targeted outreach to influential decision-makers shaping iconic, publication-worthy residential design work. <br><br><br></li></ul>Sales & Brand Advocacy<br><br><ul><li> Identify and influence key specifiers early in the design process to drive inclusion of Kallista & Robern in project specifications. </li><li> Orchestrate targeted design dinners and strategic brand activations for the A&D community, executed independently or in coordination with showroom partners as appropriate, while aligning with the regional sales manager and sales operations to stay in budget and drive measurable results. </li><li> Leverage CRM to actively track engagements, meetings, CEUs, and lunch & learns – continuously refining the strategy with a growth mindset to maximize market impact. <br><br><br></li></ul>Thought Leadership & Social Selling<br><br><ul><li> Represent Kallista & Robern at premier design events and industry shows, positioning yourself as a trusted expert in luxury plumbing and wellness solutions. </li><li> Develop a strong professional presence on LinkedIn and Instagram, sharing trend-forward content that resonates with the design community. </li><li> Cultivate social selling with a strategic approach to building and sustaining impactful local communities. <br><br><br></li></ul>Product & Market Intelligence<br><br><ul><li> Maintain expert-level knowledge of Kallista & Robern’s full product portfolio and innovations in luxury bath and kitchen design. </li><li> Collaborate with marketing and category teams to identify product and pricing gaps; provide feedback based on client insights. </li><li> Benchmark competitive luxury brands to differentiate Kallista & Robern through design, materials, and customization. <br><br><br></li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<br><br><ul><li> Align efforts with regional territory to foster a seamless, collaborative trade experience that drives mutual success. </li><li> Collaborate with commercial projects team to seamlessly hand off qualified leads and support specification continuity across large scale and hospitality driven projects. <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills/Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred. </li><li> 5+ years of experience in high-touch, relationship-based sales—ideally in the luxury design or decorative plumbing industry. </li><li> Highly polished presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences effectively both virtual and in person settings. </li><li> Proven ability to influence A&D specifications on high-end projects. </li><li> Strong design acumen and ability to speak fluently about aesthetics, materials, and form/function. </li><li> Experience in CRM systems and social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) with a personal presence aligned to the luxury trade. </li><li> This position is based in New York with additional travel to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Toronto, Canada. </li><li> This role requires overnight travel, up to 30% . <br><br><br></li></ul><strong> Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. <br><br></strong>We believe in supporting you from the moment you join us, which is why Kohler offers day 1 benefits. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
