The incumbent is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. As a mixologist you will: * Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks. * Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar customers. * Demonstrate a calm demeanor and thrive in ambiguous situations and during periods of high volume or unusual events. * Deliver exceptional customer service by leading with customer connection and responding to customer needs. * Serve as a mixology expert and share the story of mixology and the Reserve Café to provide exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including ideal pairings. * Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to recipes. * Peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks. * Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. * Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and beverage promotion. * Manage the service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company and brand policies and standards. * Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. * Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security. * Contribute to a positive team environment. * Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing organizational methods. * Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
