This role will be responsible for managing all Investor Accounting and Reporting functions within the Servicing department. They will partner closely with our Corporate Accounting and Servicing/Asset Management departments to effectively manage all cash flow reporting and balancing of a servicing portfolio consisting of loans across all commercial multifamily capital sources.<br><br><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Review daily Servicing transaction reports and resulting cash movements for accuracy and reconciliation</li><li>Review incoming/outgoing ACH, Wire and Checks for proper application/disbursement</li><li>Prepare timely and accurate reporting to investors each reporting cycle; including FNMA, GNMA, and Life Insurance Companies</li><li>Prepare daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all custodial bank accounts</li><li>Work with internal departments to resolve outstanding items in daily transaction and bank reconciliations</li><li>Build relationships with clients and meet their requested deliverables </li><li>Provide support for annual audits</li><li>Assist in creating, maintaining, and following procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements</li><li>Assist preparing and distributing internal monthly, quarterly, and annual reports</li><li>Other duties, as assigned<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Education And Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>1+ years of relevant Investor Accounting/Reporting experience preferred</li><li>Commercial mortgage servicing experience preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, including the ability to prioritize and interact with a wide range of stakeholders</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact at all levels of an organization</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong proficiency in MS Excel including reviewing formulas and suggesting corrections</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education or experience<br><br></li></ul><strong>COMPETENCIES<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization</li><li>Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Ability to multi-task and balance multiple deadlines simultaneously</li><li>Ability to resolve issues in a timely and tactful manner</li><li>Strong problem solving skills<br><br></li></ul><strong>JOB EXPECTATIONS<br><br></strong>This is a full-time position in office three days a week.
