Insurance Domain Consultant

<p><span><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span>Analyze clients’ insurance business processes across Life, P&C, and Reinsurance domains.</span></li><li><span>Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry standards.</span></li><li><span>Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology, operations, and transformation initiatives.</span></li><li><span>Advise clients on insurance products, underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, and compliance processes.</span></li><li><span>Support digital transformation programs including core system modernization, automation, and data-driven decision solutions.</span></li><li><span>Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization to improve operational efficiency.</span></li><li><span>Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, IT, actuarial, operations) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.</span></li><li><span>Participate in system implementation, testing (SIT/UAT), and change management activities.</span></li><li><span>Provide domain expertise during vendor evaluations for insurance platforms and tools.</span></li><li><span>Develop training materials and mentor stakeholders on new processes and systems.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><span>Strong knowledge of insurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory frameworks.</span></li><li><span>Understanding of core insurance systems (policy admin, claims, billing, CRM).</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with industry platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, SAP FS, Majesco, etc.).</span></li><li><span>Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.</span></li><li><span>Ability to communicate complex insurance concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span lang="EN-IN"><strong>Certification</strong> – </span></p><ol><li><p style="line-height: 15pt; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="font-family: " segoe="" ui",="" sans-serif;"=""><span style="font-size: 10.5pt;">Insurance Domain Certifications</span></span></p></li></ol> <br>At Zensar, we’re <i>“experience-led everything”</i>.
