Healthcare EDI Integration & Automation Engineer - Visual Cron (or similar)

<p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Healthcare</strong> <strong>EDI</strong> <strong>Integration & Automation Engineer - Visual Cron (or similar) </strong>to support and enhance a complex data integration, file transfer, and automation environment. This is a fully remote contract role; East Coast-based candidates are preferred.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>The team is looking for someone hands-on who can help stabilize and improve a large-scale Secure FTP environment supporting roughly 250 trading partners and 500 technical events per day.</li><li>Support and maintain enterprise file transfer and data integration processes.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues across automation workflows, integrations, and data exchange platforms.</li><li>Enhance and optimize automated workflows, monitoring, and alerting capabilities.</li><li>Review and support existing .NET applications, services, and integrations.</li><li>Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation processes.</li><li>Partner with business and technical teams to identify process improvements and implement scalable solutions.</li><li>Improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and overall integration performance.</li><li>Assist with modernization initiatives and long-term platform enhancements.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience supporting integrations, automation platforms, or data exchange environments.</li><li>SFTP/MFT, Visual Cron (or similar) experience</li><li>Healthcare or TPA domain experience is preferred, particularly HIPAA-aware file transfer practices and exposure to EDI formats such as 834 enrollments or 837 claims.</li><li>Strong experience with enterprise file transfer technologies and workflow automation tools.</li><li>VisualCron (or similar) automation experience, especially Flow Control, MFT triggers for incoming SFTP files, and API integrations within the tool</li><li>Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL and API development.</li><li>Experience troubleshooting complex integrations and data processing workflows.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and navigate complex environments with limited documentation.</li><li>Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is a plus.</li><li>Exposure to EDI transactions, data security, and compliance requirements preferred.</li></ul><p></p>
