Environmental Technician (Industrial Hygiene)
<strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform industrial hygiene-related service including asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and indoor air quality assessments.</li><li>Perform air and bulk media sampling.</li><li>Monitor remediation and abatement of contaminated or hazardous building materials. </li><li>Progressive learning about field sampling of various media while working both indoors and outdoors. </li><li>Daily communication with other ECS staff, project managers, and jobsite representatives. </li><li>Interface with contractors and other site personnel on project sites daily. </li><li>Attend project meetings with senior staff as requested. </li><li>Understanding of relevant field sampling techniques, sample collection, and analytical result reporting. </li><li>Calibration and use of sampling equipment, and documentation of results. </li><li>Additional duties may include report production, daily field reporting, and other related tasks. </li><li>Obtain relevant certifications as required to perform specific job duties. </li><li>Conduct assessments for soil and groundwater.
