Electromechanical Assembly Technician

Description:

  • Assemble and repair complex, high-precision electro-optical systems as part of the Production Team.
  • Perform production processes in accordance with documented specifications and production schedules.
  • Use computer systems to support process transactions and quality management processes.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, travelers, visual aids, and procedures during product build activities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with torque and mechanical tools, including gauges and indicators.
  • Hands-on fabrication, mechanical assembly, and wiring skills.
  • Ability to use computer systems for process transactions and quality management tasks.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, travelers, visual aids, and procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, flexible team environment.
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds for short periods of time.
  • Ability to multitask and shift into new assignments on short notice.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with AS9100 or equivalent quality management systems, preferred.
  • Experience with 5S practices, preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and effective time management, with ability to work with minimal supervision, preferred.
  • Experience using microscopes, preferred.
  • Experience with ESD processes, preferred.
  • Experience with imaging, optics, and alignment, preferred.
