EHS Specialist (Hybrid)

This position works directly with the Safety Team as well as onsite engineers and facility leadership. The candidate must be a self-starter, independent, detail-oriented, and have a strong analytical background. <b>Please read carefully below for the on-site and remote requirements of this position.</b></p><p></p><p>This position is on-site in Le Sueur, MN <b>two days</b> per week and remote <b>one day</b> per week supporting a client manufacturing facility. The remaining two days will be remote <b>and/or</b> on-site at a to be determined location (MN local) helping with business and/or other client needs.</p><p></p><p>Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Work with client to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility environmental policies</p></li><li><p>Leading/conducting site safety committee</p></li><li><p>Lead Emergency Response Team</p></li><li><p>Create, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures</p></li><li><p>Perform incident investigations</p></li><li><p>Additional responsibilities according to client needs</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline</p></li><li><p>Previous EHS experience preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus</p></li><li><p>Prior customer service experience with great interpersonal and collaboration skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated and highly productive with the ability to balance multiple projects at once</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently to manage daily tasks and meet project deadlines</p></li><li><p>Can follow good documentation practices and adapt to changing schedules</p></li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Find Your Place at Pace - We need you - your curiosity, your talents, and your drive - to help us advance this important work.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">Benefits<br>When you join Pace®, you commit to work that makes a positive impact on our communities and our world.
