Ecommerce Buyer

<p><strong>GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB</strong></p><p>The E-commerce Buyer will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement cadence for our e-commerce platform. The E-commerce Buyer will have extensive experience in procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory management. They will play a key role in keeping viral items in-stock, planning for promotional events, and driving customer satisfaction.</p><p></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Strategic Procurement: </strong>Develop and implement a strategic procurement plan, considering e-commerce demand, seasonality, market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.</li><li><strong>Inventory Planning: </strong>Meet inventory and days-of-supply KPIs using historical and market data to plan for replenishment buys and forecasts for future product launches. Partner with brand managers on sell through plans to reduce inventory liability.</li><li><strong>Supplier Management: </strong>Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.</li><li><strong>Inventory Optimization: </strong>Collaborate closely with the inventory and demand planning teams to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.</li><li><strong>Market Research: </strong>Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, assess product performance, and stay informed about emerging industry trends.</li><li><strong>Cost Management: </strong>Implement cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.</li><li><strong>Data-Driven Decision-Making: </strong>Utilize data analytics tools to track key performance indicators, assess product performance, and make data-driven decisions.</li><li><strong>Collaboration: </strong>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and logistics, to align product selection with marketing strategies and sales goals.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>Experience (3+ years) in procurement, buying, and/or planning.</li><li>Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and market dynamics.</li><li>Excellent organization, follow through, and communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, compiling and manipulating data to build a comprehensive report, and comfortable with using procurement software.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products to customers.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS</strong></p><p>Remote - Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM EST<br> </p><p><strong>PAY RANGE: $80-90K Annually<br><br>BENEFITS</strong></p><ul><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health Savings Account</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid parental leave</li></ul><p>Please review our applicant communication policies: <a href="\"https://na2.documents.adobe.com/public/esignWidget?wid=CBFCIBAA3AAABLblqZhDHCjvm_c9vWSKGn4yk_GAyOm0svoszWICpz8994e7Z3lxclh54LFd69Bq0BO0nBE4*\"">L&R Texting Policy & Terms</a></p>
