text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" data-pasted="true"> establishing and maintaining the department's vision, strategy, and programs to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.</span></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br></div>May supervise and/or coordinate security personnel and collaborate with multidisciplinary IT teams (e.g., network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts) to ensure the effective implementation of cybersecurity controls and initiatives.<br><br>Develop and execute a comprehensive departmental cybersecurity strategy, aligned with organizational goals, risk posture, and regulatory requirements, and partner with IT leadership to ensure infrastructure initiatives align with security standards.<br><br>Establish, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and controls, ensuring compliance with County, legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.<br><br>Provide security architecture guidance and perform security reviews of complex network and server environments, including system implementations, upgrades, and lifecycle changes, to ensure alignment with County security standards and best practices.<br><br>Design and enforce secure network and system architectures from a cybersecurity perspective, including oversight of controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and network segmentation.<br><br>Conduct and oversee risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and remediation efforts across systems, applications, and networks to identify and mitigate security risks.<br><br>Lead cybersecurity incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies as required.<br><br>Collaborate with IT operations to ensure systems meet security requirements for performance, availability, and scalability, and support planning for resilient and high-availability environments.<br><br>Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring appropriate cybersecurity measures are integrated.<br><br>Lead cybersecurity initiatives and provide security oversight for IT projects, including vendor engagements and implementation of new technologies, to ensure security requirements are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.<br><p><strong style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;"><u>Desirable Qualifications:</u></strong></p><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li>Three (3) years of supervisory or team lead experience in IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity. </li><li>Able to manage both technical operations and strategic initiatives. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. </li></ul><br><div style="color: inherit;
