Credit Analyst I

About the position

The Credit Administration Analyst I provides foundational credit administration support to the Third Party Credit Risk team. Responsibilities include managing and organizing credit files, tracking document receipt and exceptions, preparing credit-related reports, coordinating with internal stakeholders on outstanding documentation, and ensuring data integrity within the loan administration system. This role is critical to maintaining complete, compliant, and audit-ready credit records for the bank's third-party credit relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Perform loan research and analysis as directed
  • Assist in the monitoring of a portfolio of commercial loans
  • Complete ad hoc credit analysis as directed, for a specific component of a loan
  • Complete projects and process improvements as directed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required
  • 0-2 years of experience in credit administration, loan operations, or banking
  • Exposure to loan documentation, credit file management, or document tracking preferred
