The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Discipline organization is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, System Security Engineering (SSE), integration and system level testing, identifying and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues, and developing automated or operator-driven tests in support of system-level integration, verification and validation.

What You Will Do

Life Cycle Engineering seeks a Reliability Engineer I to join our team located in Tewksbury, MA.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing engineering analysis supporting system design with respect to Reliability, Repairability, Maintainability, System Safety, Human Systems Interface, Logistics support and other sustainment disciplines
  • Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with existing standards
  • Researching content and gleaning information from technical, soft skill and/or business documentation as well as engineering personnel or other technical subject matter experts
  • Identifying concerns, suggesting solutions, and following through to closure
  • This job is posted as ONSITE and is based at Raytheon's Tewksbury, MA facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior experience
  • Experience with data gathering and/or analysis
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of MS Office or other presentation tools
  • Experience or coursework in Circuits and Programming
